A five star Malt House conversion for 5 people and a charming four star Granary flat for 2-5 people.
The cottages are situated close to Penpentre farmhouse in Llanfihangel-Nant-Bran, the heart of a rural
community spread along the seven miles of the Bran valley. The river Bran, (an SSSI) flows into
the River Usk at Aberbran, and is again now home to otters, salmon and trout.
The Malt House and the Granary Flat are the ideal bases for open air activities of all kinds
and for exploring an unspoilt region of outstanding beauty just off the northern fringe of
the Brecon Beacons National Park.
The Epynt Way, 50 miles of waymarked bridleways, for walkers, riders and cyclists, can be
joined just two miles north of Penpentre. Opened in 2006, it is a circular trail around the 36,000 acre
Sennybridge Army Training Area.
